Police have charged two more men in connection with the robbery of a tourist on Seven Mile Beach earlier this month.
This brings to three the number of men charged in relation to the daylight robbery, which occurred on the afternoon of 3 Dec.
The other suspect, a 23-year-old man from West Bay, was arrested and charged with robbery, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and the acquisition, use and possession of criminal property on 14 Dec in relation to that robbery, as well as theft from another tourist on the beach the same day. He was remanded by the court to re-appear on 9 Jan.
In a statement issued on Saturday, police said the latest suspects, aged 20 and 21, also of West Bay, were apprehended on 18 and 19 Dec. They remained in custoday Saturday afternoon.
Both men have been charged with robbery, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and theft.
The 21-year-old man was also charged with driving without insurance and driving with an expired registration, police said.
The 20 year old is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, 22 Dec.
