Police are asking for the public’s help with finding jewellery stolen from a private home during the festive break.
During the night of 27-28 Dec., according to police reports, a man broke into the property in North Side and stole five high-value rings.
The missing rings are a double row yellow gold Clash de Cartier ring, a yellow gold Cartier Love Ring, two 1.8 carat diamond and white gold stackable rings, and a white gold halo diamond ring with a total of 21 full-cut diamonds totalling 1.26 carats.
The alarm was raised just after 10.30am and police were called to the property.
Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance to locate these stolen items and are reminding people that it is an offence to handle stolen goods, a criminal offence which can attract a sentence of up to 14 years.
