A well-known Vieux Fort businessman was the target of an attack on Saturday.
Junior Clery, owner and proprietor of the popular Clery’s Car Wash and Entertainment Yard, was reportedly shot and robbed just outside his home in La Ressource, Vieux Fort.
Preliminary information reaching St. Lucia Times indicates that the incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning. Clery was later transported to St. Jude Hospital. Efforts to confirm his condition were unsuccessful up to the time of publication.
The attack occurred hours after Clery hosted one of his regular events at the entertainment yard, a venue known to attract large crowds and regarded as a popular spot in Vieux Fort.
