
Twenty-one-year-old Kacey Cadette of Bayfront, Castle Bruce has been arrested and charged for causing the death of 43-year-old Heskieth Francis by dangerous driving.
The incident occurred on Saturday 9th, September, 2025 at about 7:30a.m on Elliott Avenue, Pottersville in the vicinity of Max Mart Supermarket and involved a Blue Suzuki Swift registration number TQ807 which was registered to the name of C&K Rentals, driven by Cadette.
According to reports, Francis a resident of Pottersville who was walking on the western side of the road in a northerly direction was struck by the left front of the vehicle
Cadette appeared before a Roseau Magistrate’s Court on Friday 12th, December 2025 where the charge was read to him.
He was bailed in the sum of $35,000.
As part of his bail conditions, Cadette has to surrender all travel documents.
The matter has been adjourned to March, 2026.
