The Annual Easter Regatta has made its return and is set for Good Friday, 18 April.
This annual event is organised by the Cayman Islands Sailing Club and is sponsored by Harbour House Marina with support from Sunset House.

Sailboats of various sizes racing the long course will start early Friday morning within the North Sound’s main channel and race around Grand Cayman to Seven Mile Beach in a clockwise direction for 41.3 miles. In rough weather, regatta participants who do not wish to take the long course have the option of a shortened route in a westerly direction down Seven Mile Beach.
This year’s prize-giving event will be held at the Cayman Islands Sailing Club on 25 April at 7pm. This event is being combined with the Rock the Dock event, which means live music from the Neverines and DJ Jardel, cold drinks and delicious food from local vendors.
On the day of the event, the weather forecast of moderate to rough seas with wave heights of 5 to 7 feet could cause a bumpy and fast race. A small craft advisory will be in effect.
