In a joint effort to transform lives through technology, 1,500 families across Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique will benefit from affordable and reliable connectivity, free digital literacy training and complimentary laptops.
Flow and the Government of Grenada have renewed their partnership under the JUMP Programme, a national initiative designed to expand digital access for underserved communities and ensure that every Grenadian can be empowered to participate fully in today’s connected world.
The signing ceremony, held today at the Grenada Trade Centre Annexe, signalled the start of a new 2-year phase of the programme. The agreement was signed by Lincoln Baptiste, Country Manager of Flow, and Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell, representing the Government of Grenada.
Launched in 2023 to bridge the digital divide, JUMP has already helped 652 families access affordable home internet and digital literacy training. The programme is supported by Liberty Caribbean Foundation and has also partnered with the Mona School of Business and Management and One-on-One Educational Services to deliver tailored digital training. Over 154 families enrolled and 106 courses have been completed to date.
Over the next 2 years, the joint goal is to enroll 1,500 households set to benefit from reliable home internet for just $20 per month, free training to build digital skills, and complimentary laptops for eligible families to support education and employment.
“This programme is not driven by profit, it is driven by purpose,” said Lincoln Baptiste, Country Manager of Flow Grenada. “JUMP is about people, families who deserve equal access to opportunity, children who can now learn online, job seekers who can apply with confidence, and seniors who can connect with loved ones abroad. Connectivity is not a luxury; it’s a right. And through this partnership, we’re making that right a reality for thousands more Grenadians.”
In his remarks, Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell praised the collaboration, emphasising how digital inclusion fuels national progress. “The JUMP Programme began as a connectivity project — but now it is a commitment to equity, opportunity, and progress. Our vision is to ensure that every home in Grenada has access to reliable internet, because digital access is no longer a luxury — it’s a necessity. Through JUMP, we are laying the foundation for a more inclusive, innovative, and empowered Grenada.”
Flow’s renewed partnership with the Government and the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) represents an investment in Grenada’s human potential.
As Baptiste noted, the programme’s true value lies in how it transforms everyday lives: helping children complete homework, empowering entrepreneurs to reach new markets, and ensuring no one is left behind in an increasingly digital society. “Together with the Government of Grenada and the NTRC, we are building a more inclusive digital society. This is how we create lasting change by ensuring that connectivity translates to opportunity,” Baptiste added.
All efforts are being made to ensure homes in need receive this digital aid with collaborative efforts through school partnerships, community outreach activities and direct engagement with SEED and other government programmes.
FLOW and the Government are working closely together to ensure that no citizen is left behind in the digital age with this transformative programme, JUMP.
