The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force notifies the general public, particularly motorists, that a portion of the Grand Anse public road from its intersection with Golf Course road to the Food Fair traffic lights will be closed to vehicular traffic today, Sunday, 15 February 2026 and Monday, 16 February 2026m from 9 pm to 2 am.
This closure is necessary to facilitate the laying of pipes in the area closest to SilverSands hotel.
During this closure, the following traffic arrangements will be implemented:
NO ENTRY
- No vehicles will be permitted to travel in a northerly direction along the Grand Anse public road from its intersection with the Mont Tout public road (close to the Food Fair Traffic Lights)
- No vehicles will be permitted to travel in a southerly direction along the Grand Anse public road from its intersection with the Golf Course public road (close to the Grand Anse Post Office)
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
- Vehicles travelling from furthest south of the island, will be diverted through Mont Tout public road, unto Karland Park and exit along the Golf Course public road
- Vehicles travelling from Belmont direction, will be diverted through Golf Course public road, unto Karland Park and exit along the Mont Tout public road
NB: All other Traffic arrangements remain the same.
