The Nelson's Dockyard National Park a Noise Abatement Zone

The Government of Antigua and Barbuda has officially declared The Nelson’s Dockyard National Park a Noise Abatement Zone under the Noise Abatement Act 1996. This would be effective 15 November 2025.

This action reflects a collective commitment to: Protecting the cultural and residential character of the Park • Managing entertainment activities responsibly • Preserving our high-end tourism and yachting experience

What this means:

1. Persons within the Park must not cause noise to be an annoyance to others in the Park

2. Loud music must end by 12 midnight

3. All music must stop by 1:00 AM

4. Any activity beyond 1 AM requires a special permit
