A 22-year-old man from Lower Bishopgate Street has been charged following a robbery at a local convenience store earlier this week.
Kelvin Sundar was taken into custody after allegedly robbing the Foodland Mini-Mart on DeSouza Road on Tuesday, March 25. According to police reports, Sundar is accused of stealing an undisclosed amount of cash and a mobile phone from the cashier during the incident, which occurred at approximately 8:30 PM.
Authorities apprehended the suspect shortly after the robbery and detained him for questioning. Following their investigation, police formally charged Sundar with the crime.
The accused is scheduled to make his first court appearance today to face the robbery charges.
