Brookes was arrested and charged on Sunday when police, while patrolling near the Hoppers’ Playing Field, discovered a .32 caliber pistol along with seven matching rounds of ammunition in his possession.
Following his arrest, he was taken into custody and held until his court appearance today, where he entered his guilty plea.
