The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) notifies the general public, particularly motorists, that a portion of the Marian public road, from its intersection with the Calivigny public road near the Gospel Hall Church to the Cocoa Road intersection, will be closed to vehicular traffic daily from Thursday, 23 October 2025.
This closure will take place between 9 am and 4 pm, and is expected to last for several weeks.
This temporary road closure is necessary to facilitate the laying of pipes as part of the Calivigny–Marian Pipeline Upgrade Project, being undertaken by the National Water and Sewerage Authority (Nawasa).
Traffic arrangements
- No entry: No vehicles will be allowed to travel along the Marian public road, in either direction, from its intersection with the Calivigny public road to the intersection with Cocoa Road
- Alternative Route: Motorists may access the Marian public road via the intersection with Calivigny public road near the Brooke Smith Lowe Institute.
: Access will be granted only to residents of Marian and business operators who are directly affected by the closure, to reach their respective premises.
The Royal Grenada Police Force apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and anticipates the cooperation of everyone.
