The Commissioner said the force will continue to adapt its tactics as new tools are introduced, stressing that flexibility will remain central to crime-fighting efforts.
“We’ll be freezing, unfreezing, and refreezing all the time. Our strategies will change,” he said.
Acknowledging public frustration over ongoing crime, he appealed for patience, assuring residents that police are actively strengthening their enforcement approach.
“Just bear with us. We know that sometimes it’s very difficult when you see what is happening,” he said.
Police say the rollout of the new technology forms part of a broader push to modernise law enforcement and restore public confidence through faster detection, stronger enforcement, and more visible policing.
