The St Joseph’s Academy Alumni Association has raised and donated additional funds to its alma mater, St Joseph’s Academy (SJA).
Principal of the SJA Mr Rudolph Davis, accepted a check for $13,517 from Dr Lenworth Johnson, Secretary of the Association. The President, Dr Dane Abbott, along with the treasurer, Orden Joseph, were on hand for the presentation.
The association’s president expressed his pleasure at being able to provide additional funds for school repairs and stated that further plans are underway for greater donations.
Meanwhile, the treasurer confirmed that funds raised to date for classroom repairs totaled approximately $83,000. Principal Davis expressed the school’s gratitude for the donation, particularly because it came on the 68th anniversary of the institution’s founding.
