Finance Minister Honourable Dennis Cornwall is currently in Japan attending the Platform for Collaboration on Tax (PCT) Tax and Development Conference, being held 2–3 March 2026, at the Tokyo Prince Hotel in Tokyo.
The minister is accompanied by the Comptroller of the Inland Revenue Division Sheena Lewis as part of his official delegation.
The conference is an invitation-only global gathering focused on strengthening international and domestic tax systems, advancing cooperation in taxation, and supporting sustainable development through improved Domestic Revenue Mobilisation.
More than 200 senior officials from finance ministries, tax administrations, international organisations, and development partners are participating.
Grenada’s participation follows an official invitation from the PCT Secretariat and comes on the heels of the recent launch of the GTAX Platform by the Inland Revenue Division in February.
While in Japan, Cornwall and Lewis will engage in keynote sessions, panel discussions, and peer-learning activities aimed at sharing best practices and strengthening national revenue systems.
The Ministry of Finance will continue to pursue strategic partnerships and international collaboration to ensure that Grenada’s fiscal framework remains robust, transparent, and aligned with global best practice in support of sustained economic growth and national development.
