By Aaron Humes: A burglary occurred at the home of a local police officer sometime this week. The officer reported that his residence was forcibly entered between the early hours of March 22 and the evening of March 29.
Several items were reported stolen, including tools and equipment, electronics, gun ammunition and magazines, and an assortment of mechanical tools and groceries.
Police personnel noted that entry to the home was gained through a front aluminum louver window. Authorities have not yet identified any suspects, as the investigation continues. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Ladyville Police Department.
