By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Ladyville resident is now facing a $2,005 court fine after pleading guilty to drug possession with intent to supply.
Randolph Barrow, 40, of Pigeon Avenue, was busted with 576.89 grams—just over half a pound—of marijuana on Friday and swiftly arraigned before Magistrate Ludlow Black. Barrow, a first-time offender, pleaded guilty and avoided the mandatory $10,000 fine due to his early plea, lack of prior convictions, and expressed remorse.

Instead, he was fined $2,000 plus $5 court costs. If he fails to pay by September 30, 2025, he will serve one year in prison.
