By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Taiwan has welcomed the Finance Belize delegation to a welcome banquet.
Taiwan’s MOFA Deputy Minister Chen Ming-chi warmly welcomed the delegation.
Chen stated that Belize is an important partner for Taiwan, and that, after the signing of an economic cooperation agreement in 2022, trade and finance engagement has heated up between the two countries. The visit has helped broaden bilateral cooperation.
The delegation is led by Finance Belize Chair Reynaldo Magana.
Magana lauded Taiwan’s financial services industry and the regulatory environment, expressing hope for continued cooperation going forward to strengthen the Taiwan-Belize partnership.
